About the role
Own the architecture and technical direction of the firm's trading systems, modernize its low-latency C++ codebase, and lead and mentor the engineering team. Remain hands-on with production code and work directly with traders and the founder to deliver firm priorities. Candidates should have a strong engineering background at an HFT or top-tier trading firm and deep, hands-on expertise in low-latency C++ systems. They should have experience owning systems end to end, be able to set technical direction while remaining hands-on, and be based in or willing to relocate to New York.
