Lead Software Engineer - DevOps with Equities Electronic Trading

About the role

Support the reliability, performance, and operational integrity of electronic equities trading systems, including FIX connectivity, production monitoring, incident response, and root cause remediation. Build Python automation, support Kafka on AWS, improve Grafana observability and operational practices, and collaborate with trading and development teams to investigate issues, including in C++ components. Requires at least five years of applied software engineering experience, advanced capability in one or more relevant programming languages or tools, and DevOps or SRE experience in a mission-critical, low-latency environment. Candidates should have practical FIX knowledge, strong Linux troubleshooting and automation skills, effective cross-team communication, and experience using approved AI-assisted engineering tools responsibly.
