About the role
Modernize and extend the existing trade execution system, integrating new order endpoints, equities and ETFs, Interactive Brokers connectivity, and execution algorithms. Improve reliability, monitoring, error handling, and system architecture while translating trading strategies into production execution workflows. Requires several years of professional software engineering experience, strong Python skills, and the ability to take ownership of an existing production codebase. Candidates should be comfortable with APIs and integrations, reliability and observability, and ambiguous work; trading, broker connectivity, databases, cloud infrastructure, and asynchronous systems experience are particularly relevant.
