About the role
Provide production support for electronic and equities trading systems, maintaining FIX connectivity, order-flow stability, system observability, and rapid incident response. Develop Python automation, support Kafka on AWS, troubleshoot Linux systems, investigate C++ components, and improve operational practices and AI-assisted engineering workflows. Requires formal software engineering training or certification and at least five years of applied experience, with advanced skills in one or more relevant languages or tools and experience in DevOps or SRE for mission-critical, low-latency systems. Candidates should have practical FIX knowledge, strong Linux troubleshooting and automation skills, and the ability to collaborate across trading, operations, and engineering while using approved AI tools responsibly.
